How do I print onto individual 4x6 photo paper?

How would I load a sheet so small into the printer properly?

you need a printer that can print on photo paper. or just buy "normal sized" 8x11 photo paper & cut it out t once your picture is printed.

Start

Settings

Printers and Faxes

Right click printer icon

Click properties

Click printing properties

In the size is window, scroll to "Photo 4x6 with tab

Now your printer is set up to print 4x6

You may also want to change your paper type to a gloss paper, or one of your choice (Also can be found in printer properties)
