How do I promote my business?

I have recently started an online baby clothing boutique called One Spoiled Baby. I am wondering what others who have started a business from scratch have done to promote their site and expand their business to make it successful.

    Get your business noticed as often as you can.

    That's the best advice I can give you.  Good luck, and don't give up.  Remember, everything you let loose in cyberspace will be there forever.

  4. Write some press releases and submit to online Press Release sites (e.g. http://www.prweb.com).  You'll get some free online coverage.

    I'd also suggest searching for baby sites online and see if you can do a link exchange with the other site - if it's in a related and non competing industry.  

    Even though you're an online business, I'd also look for some local coverage and write some press releases (including your website) to the local newspapers, radio and television.  Send a release to parenting magazines, etc.

    There's a whole bunch more you can do in terms of paying for ads/clicks, etc. but I presume your on a limited budget so I'd go for some of the free and/or lower cost options first.
