  1. There are plenty of ways to promote your site.

    1)Article Marketing

Really a powerful method in getting audience. Write a good article based on your niche topic and submit it in article directories. Just go to google or yahoo and search for "free article directories". It will suggest you a host of directories that you can easily submit your writings. When people surf in that certain directory, they might stumble into your article and you got all the fame needed to be successful in Internet Marketing.

    2)Blogging

This method is just like the article writing. You write what you want but good contents for your audience in blogs. The better you got, the more audience you get. You can also submit the same contents that you wrote in blogs in article directories. You get instant viewers if your article is in top 10 within your niche

    3)Offer free stuffs

It's always good to get free stuffs. Everyone likes it.So offer some free stuffs such as e-books or software for your audience. You will get a good, loyal and repeating audience. If you are looking for FREE e-books to market it in your site, check out this link.

  2. Your site is good looking. I wouldn't put many products on the main page though.

Advertising via Adwords is a good option. ;) You can advertise your site via Google Adwords, but adding your campaign in Adwords is not free and they charge money for showing your ads. But I know a great site for you which tells you a *magic code*, When the *magic code* is Added To Any Site's Campaign It Makes Google Pay-Per-Click Ads Costs Go To Zero and you can get free advertising! Cool, huh? :)

    The url is: http://tinyurl.com/3pg9u5

Also there is one more program, you can signup for it as an advertiser(they give $20 free advertising for new advertisers) and then advertise your site in those $20. :)

    URL : http://tinyurl.com/69q6nz

If you use both Adwords and the other program I mentioned, you can advertise your site for free and get loads of targeted traffic. :)

  3. I like the look of the website. It looks like you had a pop-up in there but I think my blocker got it, or either you have taken it out. If you havn't I would.

Also Like they stated above put some items on display on your home page. You need something to catch the eye!

Keep the text on your home page, and make your meta keywords more relavent to the page. Do this with every page on your site.

Otherwise the site looks pretty good.

  4. I would display some products on the main page.  It doesn't have to be many, but I'd put up perhaps maybe one product per category that you have in front to show a little more what you have.  It has more of an information website feel to it when you first get on.  I wouldn't eliminate the text, just make it a little smaller.  Keep it so the google bots can read what's on your site easier.

To promote, you can do many things.  Sign up for google adsense and use a pay per click system.  If you do not want to pay per clicks, see how many hard links you can get.  Participate in forums that are related to your site and see if the admins will let you put your site in your signature line.  You can also get google bots to crawl your site faster by submitting your site to http://google.com/addurl .  I would also submit the link to http://directorix.net to get a hard link placed in a category that is relevant to your site.  Hope this helps.

  5. Definitely more products on the home page. I can't even tell it's a store. You want products front-and-center. For example: www.shoppingstand.com and www.momagenda.com.

Also, take your store name out of your title tags. Folks know the store name from the web address, and that'll move the important keywords closer to the start of the title tag, which will give you more oomph in the search engines.

Also get rid of 'Home ::' in your title tags, for the same reason.

Consider buying some low-cost PPC ads, too.

In the end, though, you're going to need to read up, a lot, on internet marketing, or hire an expert. Check out the resources I've cited below (one is mine - full disclosure)

  6. Write articles about your website or ideas.

Submit your website for users to review, free!

    Post Free Classifieds.

    Go to Famous Pages

    http://famouspages.info

  7. Try Online advertising..

In online advertising there are two major distinctions, paid and not paid (FREE). Paid online advertising is easy to understand. You have banners placed on other websites or emails that are sent to an email mailing list and you have pay per click (PPC) which is you paying for an ad placement on another website or search engine. The placement is charged a fee with a fluctuating rate for each click to your ad that takes a prospective customer to your website.

Banner ad placement works best when there is a limited capacity offer such as a short supply of a product or service or you have a limited amount of time for the offer. Banners are normally more expensive so its a better idea to have a banner for a trip to Vegas or next weeks rock concert than a landscaper service in June.

PPC is good for most small business advertising but unfortunately if its not done the right way, it can be quite expensive. PPC, if done right can bring a very high return on investment (ROI) and can catapult your business from nothing, to a steady stream of customers in a short period of time, at a fraction of other advertising methods.

Unpaid or free advertising in most cases will not cost you money, but it will cost you time. If done correctly and thoroughly, certain aspects of free advertising for your small business will take many hours to perfect. The most effective forms of free advertising are search engine optimization (SEO) and social networking.

SEO in simple terms is building your online presence to provide the best chance of being seen by search engines such as Yahoo® and primarily Google®. This is done in 4 primary steps:

       1. Establish keywords for the basis of creating content

       2. Building content around and about your keywords

       3. Linking to and from similar websites with good content

       4. Adding more content based on keywords

Notice the focus is on your websites' content in all four steps.

SEO is not easy because it it perpetually evolving and it involves setting a plan in motion, then waiting for results, while working it for different angles behind the scenes. In the end you still have no control over how your results are presented, only the search engines have it. Your SEO work is never done and it is time consuming, but with the right strategy and implementation, you will achieve great success. For social networking, its a little different than SEO but its basis, free online advertising, and the end result, a very high ROI, are the same. Social networking is establishing a presence on a community based website, or creating a community on your own website. Social networking provides you with not only free advertising but a constant source of communication with your customers, and potential customers. Using social networking relies on tapping into the organic interest people will generally have in the content you provide. Social networking websites are growing at a rapid pace, and the amount of time people spend on those websites makes it more likely you will be exposed to more people. Establishing your presence on a social networking website should be consistent with your overall web presence and if done right will only enhance your small business footprint online.
