How do I promote peace and equality in my town?

I need three examples of how to promote peace and equality in my community.

Be the change you wish to see in the world. That means you must believe and truly feel the peace, love, equality  from within you. Everyday you will be committed to giving yourself to people without expectations in return. If they mistreat you..dont get mad. Look at everyone as an individual and listen more...talk less. You have to learn about people you meet...each person is an opportunity.  Understand, understand, and understand.  For example, go through all that you have experienced and each time you feel anger or hatred try to figure out why. Then when you encounter the same reactions..understand why this is happening and figure out a way to always make someone's life easier.
