I reciently bought a Tacca chantieri 'Black Beauty' Bat Plant. It's main flower is now dieing but it appears to have four new plants forming around the base of the main stem. Can I lift the plant out and seperate rather like a daffodil bulb? and, if so what sort of compost is best to use to repot with? Also what is the best aftercare for mother and babies?
