  1. Stop spitting in it.

  2. Maintenance of your didgeridoo on the site below:

  3. g'day

Are you in Australia? that would make it easier.

Water would expand and crack the wood, so don't look to use anything damper than a cloth (don't pour dishwashing water through it)

Any oils you use may have bad effects when using the dij. (fumes may come of when the oil is warmed from your touch and breath). Even if the bottle says it is safe for humans, if it advises "well ventilated area" then it is not for inside the dij.

Gum (Euchalyptus) leaves have good effects on lungs (they are used in some saunas). Try putting green leaves in a BBQ pit and funnelling the smoke up the dijeridoo for a few mins. Don't let the smoke be too hot when it gets to the instrument or it may dry the wood too quick.

    Good luck and have fun

  4. you cant. What about some sort of woodtable cleaner that you spray. Na that would taste funny. You can get some guitar cleaner meant for wood and wipe it down smells kinda like lemons sorta. Good luck. or drop some oil down there like sandlewood or blue nile.
