How do I prove community service?

I am in community service and I am going to start volunteering at places such as a Cat rescue place and YMCA mentoring. How do I go about getting that documented? I am so clueless!

Whomever is in charge at the place where you are Volunteering can write you a letter on a letterhead. It's pretty much that simple.

Mrs Fountain is correct.  Also you could write the date, the start time and finish time each day  and have the supervisor sign it.

That is the best documentation.
