How do I prove that someone is eavesdropping on me via either a laser or sonar listening device?

For several reasons I have suspected that I am being surveilled. Occasionally there are two male voices that call out certain things whenever I am in certain rooms, or even places within rooms. This seems to be harassment based on eavesdropping. I learned from a security expert that this is a technique often used by the FBI to listen in on people without placing electronic bugs in the premises. The expert said it's likely a laser or sonar beam is directed at my windows, turning them into microphones. When I place a white noise generator next to a window, I can clearly hear the sound of these same two voices, as if they are talking on a walky talky. But it is very faint and occurs "inside" the sound of the white noise, so a regular tape recorder does not pick the voices up distinctly. But the voices definitely are there and have been heard by others in my house. I am not crazy, nor am I involved in anything illegal. I need to capture these voices to prove this.

Its more likely that something in your house, perhaps a set of speakers, is picking up stray sounds from a cellphone, walkie talkies, baby monitor, or device.

Its very unlikely that any listening devices planted on your house are broadcasting the voices of FBI agents.

Do you really have reason to suspect the FBI would be listening in to your daily life? Are you a terrorist or something?

I believe this is possible...from experience. (Makes us look "paranoid" to say this, doesn't it?! lol) There was a person who I thought was psychic...or who had knowledge from God about me. Now I realize that there are devices like this people can use if they have enough money(They had access to a lot of money) I've thought that they had a recorder or video camera they were using...but they got the info too fast for that. (I wasn't doing anything illegal at all...they just were trying to find things to blackmail me with .) If I were you I'd keep investigating this...if you value your privacy.

EDIT...I agree with Forrest. I wish more people were "informed" about this. These people count on you "looking paranoid " etc. when you tell others about it.

A white noise device isn't a receiver, so how would you be able to hear what someone is saying?

Beg your pardon, but you seem to be the absolute definition of paranoid.  A good way to approach it is to ask yourself why these two men would spend so much time listening to you.  What are you saying that is worth hearing?  If you're just a normal person having a normal life with normal conversations then there's nothing for them to hear.  If that's the case and you still think you're being watched, then perhaps you need to seek psychiatric help.  After all, "crazy" people never *think* they're crazy.

Sounds like you need a high dollar recording system.  Spend enough money and you can record any sound.  That is a matter of asking experts till you find the recording system you can afford. Professional quality systems are much better than what you find at walmart.

Laser and big ear systems are line of sight. So you would just have to see them. As in Cameras. Understand they do not transmit sound to you in any way shape or form. Any voices you are hearing are not from this. You might consider a "Nanny cam". If you have gotten on someone's "list" having your house searched while your at work is not uncommon. Placing traps in your house will get you put in jail if you hurt the nice officer. Not to mention nasty retribution if you only wing him. He probably has friends who know what he is doing so it does not end when you get rid of the body.

Have you even used a device to "sweep" for bugs? That is the only way to be sure.

It is unlikely but not unheard of for someone to go to this effort for no reason. The FBI was caught a few years back turning on peoples phones at random and listening in. So it might be your phone. This would allow them to speak as well as listen.

Lastly do not discount spirits. As nuts as this sounds this is fairly standard behavior for hauntings or taunting spirits.  If you are doing nothing illegal and it goes on for a long period of time I would put it down to spirits.

Yes it is possible to listen to someone via laser/sonar, they can  monitor tiny vibrations that the windowpane makes when exposed to sound, then electronically make these vibrations back up into the original sound.

There is NO possible way for this method to transfer sound from them to you. The beam would also be invisible. There is no possible way for you to know, other than actually seeing them looking at you.

Invest in a pair of binoculars.

Or, if you really really want to find out, go to a  gun store and buy a nice rifle, a .308 bolt action or something, with a big scope. Then simply hold the rifle up, and look through the scope out your window, checking out all the apartments nearby. If police come and shoot you, you know you were under surveillance. If they don't come, you must just be crazy. This plan would also work if you bought copious amounts of nitrate fertiliser, or pool chlorine, and started wearing camouflage everywhere.
