How do I prove to my teammates that I can lead and play QB?

Question

No one expects me to play QB and arent accepting of me as the leader.

Obviously the big way is to go up there prove I can do it and once I get that good play they wills start looking at me different but how else can I earn their respect.

Like how to carry myself and the right way to lead.

You're going to have to show your teammates that you are a team guy.  That the team comes before your own interests.

This means going the extra mile to help everyone as much as you possibly can.  You gotta show everyone, including the coaches, that you care.

If this means spotting in the weight room, or carrying equipment bags, or noting play charts, or whatever...you gotta go the extra mile.

And this is all outside of your abilities on the field.  You gotta make sure you know all the plays, all the routes, everyone's strengths and weaknesses...and then you gotta deliver.

a leader is someone people want to follow, so show them that you believe in all of them and most importantly the team

of course if you play at a high level it becomes easier to win over your teammates

but don't show weakness. let them see that you are confident in your ability and even if you are second guessing yourself NEVER let them see it.

Well you can't follow them. What I mean is you can't be a follower in the group you need to stand out.  Be an individual.  You need to show them when you are out on the field that you are willing to work and sacrifice. Thats through anything drills and play.  Start being one of the guys who is out there pushing  and cheering on the players in drills.  You can do it from anything.
