I have been snowboarding for about 8 years now and I want to start doing some jumps and bigger rails. So far I can clear and small and med size box, a small rainbow rail and a small jump. But nothing to amazing, I want to try so big stuff but I don't wanna look like a rookie.

  1. Everyone looks like a rookie at some point so you gotta just keep on jumping until you make it.  Start small and work your way up.

  2. 1. Hit the jump.

    2. Hit the jump.

    3. Hit the jump.

  3. It's not about what people think it's about what you feel. If you feel you're ready then go for it. Even practice popping high enough to touch your board off flat or a small bump.Just make sure when you take it to a jump you have enough speed.

  4. Dont worry about how you look, remember everyone on the slopes was in the same place you are right now, a good grab to learn is an INDY, this is the easiest grab in my opinion, All your gooing to do is hit the jump and grab by your back foot, and if your a little nervious you dont have to start by actually grabbing, just start by giving it a little tap, just get comfortable bending your body and getting your hand down there, once you are comfortable doing that, grab away.

The key is to start small and visualize what you want to do.
