How do I put .JAR/.JAD files in my Blackberry Pearl 8100?

Question

I have the software for the Pearl installed on my computer, I thought I would just have to download the JAR files and then extract them, but it doesnt work, so Im guessing theres a different way to put them in?

You need to connect your phone to the PC and load desktop manager.

Desktop Manager will allow you to load software (applications). If it says no compatible software found, you need to load the handheld OS software on your PC also, which you can download from your carrier's website.
