Question:

How do I put a DVD on my iPod (on a Windows).

I have the DVD on Windows Media Player and I think I need to [somehow] save it to my Library and then I need to import it using iTunes.

Is this how it's done? If so, how do you save the DVD to my Library. If not, then how do you do it.

Please, give detailed, step-by-step directions.

  1. iPod can only support mpeg4 video. You will need to have a 3rd party tool to help you to convert dvds and video into mp4 or h264 format, add them into itunes library, then sync to ipod,  take a look at http://www.dvd-to-ipod-converter.com/cuc... this step by step guide convert DVDs and all kinds of videos like avi, mpeg etc to ipod using cucusoft...works like a charming for me.

  2. Your best bet is to use Handbrake, it's free, available for windows, and has built in iPod settings.
