How do I put a link in my email to a certain web page?

  1. Open your email in compose. For me, the easiest way to create a link in an email is to go to the web page you're interested in. You can either open a new tab (if your browser has tabbed browsing like IE7, Firefox, etc) or a new window if you don't have tabbed browsing. (Click file at upper left of screen > new > window.)

    Once you're at the web page you can click on the address to  highlight it and use the copy command (either edit > copy or Ctrl + C.) Go back to your email and put your cursor in the body of the email where you want the link to appear. Paste the previously saved address by clicking edit > paste or Ctrl + V.  The address will be inserted into the email and automatically become an active link.
