How do I put a link on my MySpace without it going to the homepage?

I'm trying to put a link for my facebook into my myspace but everytime i go and click on the link that i have put in, it takes me to the myspace homepage. help please!

let me guess... you think a "link" starts with "www", right?

myspace doesnt work like the IM programs you are using to using....
