How do I put a password on my LG shine so that I'm the only one who can access anything on it...?

So I bought a new phone (Lg Shine) and its pretty cool, as far as the camera/video aspect and as such I've taken a lot of pictures and made some videos, but I personally hate having people go through my stuff and I wanted to know how to set up a password on it...

I think your best option would be to have a auto lock on your phone, so that in order to use it you require a pin number.

It should be in the manual.
