How do I put game applications that I got on iTunes onto my iPod Touch?

I downloaded a free game application from iTunes, but how do I put it on my iPod touch?

i just tried to put it on my ipod touch as well, and it wouldnt transfer.

and then i figured out that we need to update the ipod to version 2.0, in which you have to buy. so you need to update your ipod first, download the applictions again, and re-transfer.

sucks that we have to buy it tho.
