How do I put him in jail???

I'm only 13 and I was raped/molested from age 8-11... by my cousin who is 10 years older then me. I want to put him in jail. He's given me so much pain that putting him in jail (hopefully) will give him just a taste of the pain he's given me.

How do I get him in jail...? What do I need to do?...

  1. Talk to a social worker, guidance counselor, or principal at school.  They will help you by notifying the proper authorities.

  2. You need to immediately go to a school social worker or your parents .

If they do not believe you go to the police yourself. This man is a predator and if he's hurt you then has hurt others. Go to a doctor and ask for a rape support group.  When you talk to the police be as truthful as possible any exaggerations will hurt your case against him.

Good Luck and this is NOT your fault in any way shape or form!

  3. You don't put him in jail - the police do. You start the process by calling them and making a report. They will then conduct an investigation after which the prosecutor will decide if he/she wants to drop the case or take it to a court of law. You will be required to testify in a court of law. Be prepared because they'll want you to go into detail about how you were abused but if he did this to you, he's probably doing it to someone else. A jury will then decide if he's guilty or innocent and the judge will assign a sentence.

It's a long process but it'll be worth it at the end - not only for his pain but to save other little girls he might also be making to feel the pain you did.

  4. So you be the mature one, call the police station, and tell them your story.  I have a major bone to pick with your parents. Good parents press charges against those that hurt kids.  Yes, you will most likely have to go to court.  He may not be able to deny if, especially since the DA will find out if he's molested other kids or not, and they can come testify on your behalf.

  5. to call the police and make a report.. they will take it from there.

  6. First, you need to talk to your parents and tell them what has been going on.  They can then call the authorities to press charges.  It's better to have an adult help you in a situation like this.  After that's taken care of, get some counseling.  Counseling will help you deal with the feelings you are having and help you cope.

    Good luck
