How do I put homemade videos on my iPod?

i went to american idol and i got some rlly cool videos!

iPod accepts only MP4 format video, If your video is MP4 video, just follow below steps to add video to iPod.

1. Open iTunes and click "File" to add your videos to iTunes library.

2.Then plug in your iPod to computer, iTunes will detect your iPod as a device. select your iPod device on the left panel of iTunes, click "Movies" tab, check the videos you want to sync and click "Apply", done.

If your video isn't MP4 format, you need third party software to convert video to MP4, I always use Aimersoft iPod Converter Suite, it can easily convert video to ipod with high quality, that's really good, you can check it out here for free:

If they recorded as mp4s, you can just drag them into your iTunes Library and they'll convert for your iPod.

If not, then you need a program to convert the videos to mp4s.

You cant unless you convert the files and in such case you need a file converter to upload them onto itunes
