  1. Right click on the file OR folder you want to copy and click 'send to' your cd (probbably (D:) drive)

  2. To copy files and folders to a CD: 1. Insert a blank writable CD into the CD recorder.

    2. Double-click My Computer, and then click the files or folders that you want to copy to the CD. To select more than one file, hold down the CTRL key while you click the files you want.

    3. Click any of the following options:• Copy this file

    • Copy this folder

    • Copy the selected items

    4. In the Copy Items dialog box, click the CD recording drive, and then click Copy.

    5. In My Computer, double-click the CD recording drive.

Windows displays a temporary area where the files are held before they are copied to the CD. Check that the files and folders that you intend to copy to the CD are displayed under Files Ready to Be Written to the CD.

    6. Under CD Writing Tasks, click Write to CD.

    7. After the CD Writing Wizard starts, follow the instructions in the wizard.

    8. When the process is finished, the wizard displays a check box for you to choose to create another CD like the one you just made. If you want to create multiple copies of the same CD, click Yes, write these files to another CD and insert another blank, writable CD into the CD recorder. Follow the instructions in the wizard. NOTE: After you copy files or folders to the CD, it is useful to view the CD to confirm that the files are copied.

  3. yea somebody answer this because i wanna kno too and how to put pics on cds

  4. "file save as" then direct it to the cd drive.

    that's it

  5. Most modern operating systems have burning capabilities built into their file managers, but you will still probably want to get some disc burning software. It will make your life easier.

Insert the blank disc into your computer.  Open your disc burning software.Choose the files you wish to burn to disc, and then follow the procedure for your disc burning program to burn them to disc.

If you happen to be using Windows XP, and wish to get through this quickly, without downloading any software, you can write files to disc using Windows Explorer.  To do this, please do the following:

    1) Insert the blank disc into your drive.

    2) Double-click on "My Computer".  The blank disc should appear over the icon for your disc drive

    3) Double-click on the disc icon.  It will appear similar to an empty folder.

    4) You can drag and drop the files you wish to write to disc onto this folder.

    5) Once you have copied all of the files you wish to write to disc onto the blank CD, click the "Write these files to CD" option on the upper left side of the window.  Once your drive finishes writing the data to disc, you can eject it.

  6. What info are you going to put on a CD.

Floppy Disks are so old where have you been.

If your gonna put music on it (thats pretty much all you can put on it) you insert it into the disk drive. Then a little window will come up giving you option of what you wanna do with it. There should be one that says Burn something onto the CD.

If you use Windows Media Player then the blank CD will show up on it. From there you can drag what music you want to put onto the CD and burn it on there.

  7. You can treat the cd in almost the same fashion. The guide lines are in the file as part of help and support. The only real difference is the fact that once the burn is finalized on the cd. Nothing else can be added unless the CD was set up for multisesion. Drag the files to the CD and it will ask if you want to burn now.

  8. Go to my computer and click on where the CD drive is. Drag any files to it.
