How do I put music on a Sidekick 2008?

today I got a sidekick 2008 and I cant figure out how to download music onto it using the USB cord that came with the phone. can anyone help me? also, can I take the music I download onto the phone and use them as ringtones? thanks in advance!

i assume its probably similar to putting music on an mp3 player....IF it lets you do it like that, they may not let you put music on it because they expect you to buy music from your service provider i assume t-mobile, which told me i could put music on a phone before and i found out i had to buy it through them, by the way is the phone worth the money? im considering throwing away my pay check for one

go to http://www.myxer.com/ and make and account and then it will ask u for ur number and then u search for the ringtone, then you will habve to send a meesage to ur self. watch th evid. they show u! hope i helped

Well all you have to do is connect the cable to the computer and of course your Sidekick and then like a little sceen pops up of course saying the documents inside the sidekick and then all you have to do is drag whatever music files that you have into the folder that says music

And i dont know if you can use the music as ringtones because i have a Sidekick 3 and you cant and you cant on the LX either. But try
