I am fourteen, and going to be a freshmen this year. I switched schools last year so I still don't know a lot of people from my school I am not the most outgoing person. I have to find my group of friends still and I am pretty much terrified of highschool. I have never had a boyfriend, its not a big deal for me but its like unheard of in my school. Also on top of it, I might also move in november this year. My family is starting to get in a money crisis, and I still have to find the "perfect" wardrobe but I don't want to hurt my families inability to pay, I am not selfish. I also really want to play tennis and piano, but I don't want to have my parents worry about money. Its kinda hard to go to my new rich school, when you have money problems too. So my question is how do I put my life together and not be so stressed?

  1. For the clothes, try a second hand store.  You can find name brands there in really good shape but half the cost if they were brand new.  No one will know you bought them second hand.  Look for ways for you to earn a little money, like babysitting, and try to pay for your own lessons, to help take the pressure off your parents.  The kids at school don't need to know your personal finances at home, so just be yourself.  Those who are drawn to you will do so because of your personality, not how much money your parents make.

Good luck, I remember high school as being very stressful.  Sometime during the day try to find some "me" time, to help get things under control and keep the stress at a minimum.  People are worse off then you, so make the best of it and try to see where you can help to make it a bit better, for you and your family.
