How do I put my movies on to my zune but they are all ready mp4 format and it always says converting file .?

Convert them to wmv with a resolution no larger then 320x240. Use any one of the converters already mentioned or another one of your choice. Conversion still might take a bit of time but at least it won't convert when you sync.  When I convert a movie I set it to convert when I don't care how long it takes to convert.
