How do I put recorded videos on a Cd playable on my tv?

I recorded the video with my Canon camera. I want to put videos on the Cd, and be able to watch them on my TV. I have the videos on my computer. Is there a program which I can use to burn it on to the dvd, and make the format the correct one to be playable on the tv? Thanks!

Nero can do this.  There are probably many other packages, but Nero seems to be the most widely used.  You can select whether you want to burn onto DVD or VCD.
