How do I put the casette in my JVC Digital Video CAmera?

So, I have a JVR Digital Video Camera GR DV500U - and honestlly I've never even owned a video camera; so I just ejected the last casette and put a new one in....but I can't figure out how to make hte mechanism go back in.

Help please?

  1. Did you read the manual?

    If you put the tape in correctly, gently press the tape mechanism and it will close... then close the cover. Don't just close the cover - you'll break stuff that way.
