I'm an Executive Assistant for the CFO of a commercial bank with nine years of admin. experience and three years of EA experience. All of the positions I've held have been in the financial services industry except two years working for the CEO of an employment agency. My resume is very good and I don't have a degree. I only want to leave my job for a very high paying EA position with an investment firm. I've had one interview with a recruiter who contacted me about my resume for a huge Real Estate Invester in West LA but I never got an interview with the company. What do I need to do to get attention and land the position I desire. I know all the basic resume and interview advice I need to know where i'm fallin short here and how I can succeed.

  1. By being totally qualifid and honest as you can be !!

  2. I don't think you are falling short, everything looks really good. It's just finding that right job and things are tough right now. I would get back in touch with that recruiter and see if he has anything else that may suit your needs. Sometimes if they think you are overqualified or think you are asking for too much money it can make a difference. Good Luck to you & don't give up!
