  1. not suck at skiing.

  2. Become a top competitor, by entering and finishing in the top 5 places as many times as possible. The Olympic race team is limited to the 5 racers per event in most cases. These competitors are usually ranked as international class racers, and compete all over the world.  The FIS makes the rules that govern ski racing, and the Olympic competition is run under most of the FIS rules.  Check FIS and Olympic competition websites for more information.

Most Olympic racers start racing about 7-10 years old and will train year around  until they are in their late teens or early 20's when they finally will place on the National Team.

  3. Do you ski race? If so then you can join the US ski team first. It also depends on how old you are. You can join any ski team in the US there are many you just need to pick a state and mountain you want to ski at then pick the Ski program you want to join from there you should be able to work your way up to the Olympic Ski Team.

    Hope this Helped

    Good Luck
