How do I "delete all" emails on my Blackberry Curve?

Question

I just took a new job and I am no longer on my old company's server so I need to delete hundreds of dead emails and I do not want to do it one by one. How can I delete all of them at once or at least in large groups?

Emails are separated by date rec'd.

Highlight the most current date of which all the previous emails fall under, click it, and delete prior. This will delete everything under that line.

im not sure if its the same to delete your emails as it is to delete old text messages, but if you hold down your shift key on the lower right or left, and then scroll up or down it will hi-light them and then you just press the delete key
