  1. When I was in school, there was no Wikipedia, no WWW, no easy browsing for answers.  So, I can't tell you what the correct form for listing the citation in the bib might be.  You'll probably need to list the exact URL of the webpage you read.

What I *can* tell you is that you've got the right basic idea.  You're crediting the source of your information.  Any ideas or words you borrow from someone else, you have to give credit for.

There always is a way to list the source of your citations.  Back in my day, we had rules for citing interviews that we conducted personally, rules for citing tape recordings, rules for citing television shows, as well as the well-known rules for citing books and magazines and newspapers.  If your bib entry isn't in perfect form, you can get marked down slightly for that.  If your bib entry is missing, you can get seriously marked down for plagiarisms.

I guess I'm saying, if you can't find the right way to list it in your bib, at least make sure you list it completely.

  2. Paraphrase: Write it in Your Own Words

  3. wikipedia states, "...."  and i think you should use paranthetical citation

and one more thing, if you're teacher hasn't already told you, don't use wikipedia for research papers, b/c anyone can change the articles, and it's just not a reliable source for papers.  all my teachers say that it's not good and actually they just don't allow us to use it.

  4. You are not, maybe you can try rephrasing some of the information instead of writing 'wikipedia states.. ..' all the time. By the way, its not wikipedia that does up the info, its actually people's donation of info to wikipedia. Avoid copy & paste, your teacher is gonna check up the website you gave credit on and if she/he finds out that the info are 'lifted' you could get into trouble.

  5. give credit in bibliography at the end. use paraphrasing if you find your quoting to much
