1. You can't. You have to put it back in your computer if you took it out.

If you mean your driver, then you can either

    A) Reinstall from the CD that was included with the device (you may have never received one)

    B) Check the manufacturer's website. They will have a driver download section (sometimes under the "support" pages).

    C) Call the manufacturer. Often, they will be willing to ship driver CDs to your home or business either for free, or for nothing more than the cost of shipping.

  2. I'm assuming you mean the drivers for your sound card. It's kind of difficult to help you with this one unless you provide more info on your computer (are you running a windows or a mac os and what version?)

Assuming you are running windows XP and you don't have a name brand computer (i.e. Dell, HP e.t.c) then you can try this:

[1] Right click on the My Computer Icon and select "Properties"

[2] Click on the Hardware tab

[3] Click on the Device Manager button

[4] If you indeed uninstalled the driver there should be un entry there under "Unknown devices". Right on the entry under that group and select the install driver option. Follow the prompts and chose to automatically find the best driver for the device. Hopefully this will work.

(Note: if you have the cd's that came with the computer then you will need to use those with this wizard)

If you have a brand name computer just go to the company's website and enter the model number and you can download the driver from there.
