How do I receive message reminders?

Click messenger top left, scroll down to preferences click, click alerts and sounds. Check enable alerts ,check playing a sound highlight the alert for a message, a friend etc. then browse for the sound and click o.k.

What exactly do you mean by that?

Do you mean that you want to get a copy of each message posted to your Group?  If so, log in to your Group, then go to its home page on the web.  Then click Edit Membership in the middle of the top line (just below the ad if there is one).  Then scroll down to Step 2 Message Delivery; select Individual Email there.  Don't forget to click the Save Changes button (near the lower-right-hand corner) when you're done.

Do you mean that you're a Group owner or moderator and you want to receive reminders by e-mail when there is a pending message waiting for you to approve?  If so, log in to your Yahoo Group and go to its home page on the web.  Then click on Edit Membership in the middle of the top line (just below the ad if there is one).  Then scroll down to the Email Notification section at the bottom of the resulting page.  Of the various choices in that section, check the box of each type of notification you would like to receive.  Don't forget to click the Save Changes button (near the lower-right-hand corner) when you're done.
