How do I record on my new HDTV??

ok first of all our hardware:

DVDR/VCR recorder: JVC DR-MV1S

TV: Sharp LC-32D624(or "u"...i can't read my writing)

HD: Dish Network HD reciever.

on our old tv the satalite was sending the signal to channel 3 on the TV, so to record we just set the VCR to record channel 3. However with the Sharp, the sattelite is on "Input 3" and there is no signal at all on the channels on the "TV" input. The VCR/DVD is on input 1.

How do i get the VCR/DVD on input 1 to record what's playing on Inpout 3?

you should be able to set the tv up for any channel you like for the vcr
