I used to have morals and hope to grow up to be a man of respect with a high class character. Now I feel like I have lost my way and want to get back on track. I used to respect females and would only make love after falling in love; now I feel like I want it all the time. Also I feel like I am not friendly to other people; i want to be friendly again.

  1. You still have "morals and hope"!   Or you wouldn't be asking this question.

Reevaluate your priorities between spiritual and material might help.

We ARE spirits living in a material world, and are surrounded with 'how to be O.K.' advertisements that can push us back into those false values, and it is insanity to try doing both.

This is why many are giving up and thinking that they are atheists.  When choosing to accept spiritual ethics it is helpful to find a "God" or system that works,  AND makes sense.

For me, my spiritual seeking led me through alcoholism to the 12 steps of AA.  Whether a person is alcoholic, addict, or whatever, the 12 steps are a clear cut program of finding your place within spirit.  It has been acknowledged by the Dalai Lama as complete, concise, and compassionate.  For me, it cuts out all the atheist creating dogma and doctrine of "Organized Religion", and gets right down to the truth about us and a working relationship with God.

With the 12 steps, we accept a 'God of our understanding'.  One we can really do business with.  Believe me all the honest moral, and ethics are there to be LIVED, not preached, and one does not have to be alcoholic nor addicted to start their own 12 step program.  It does help though to have support as it is through our human relationships that we may experience the 'divine'.

This is just my suggestion to you, but at least read what the 12 steps are,  you don't have to accept that you are alcoholic, (unless you are), but we all have some addictions to this physical world that negate our spiritual growth.

Best wishes to you stay open!

  3. It seems you never had faith, good will, or character.  Try honesty with yourself first.

  4. There is no such thing as one cockroach.

You need to choose to live the perfect life.

The perfect live is based on perfect virtue.

    Perfect virtue is incorruptible.

    All the best, my friend.

  5. I know how you feel...

just humble yourself. its easier to be good than evil. doesnt require as much thinking or effort. let it succumb you.

  6. you seem to have a conscience..and you also seem to be struggling..but  you are your own worst enemy..your going to try and do this alone?  Good luck with that..the first thing i would suggest is stop any behavior that makes you feel bad about your self then you can begin to forgive yourself.  if their is someone you respect that you could talk to or use as an example i would do that..good luck and when you decide you need spiritual guidance he'll be waiting for you...
