I'm a Christian and I feel like I'm losing my moral compass with regards to relationships with the opposite gender, it scares me cause I'm starting to think and say things I'd never have said a year ago. I read the Bible fairly regularly but I think it's no longer sinking in, Please help!

  1. stop drinking

  2. stop basing your morality on the bible and start thinking for yourself

  3. Draw close to God. Resist the devil and He will flee.

Replace your thoughts with scripture, psalms, hymns. Spend time with others who share your same commitment. Do not allow yourself to be alone with the opposite gender. Don't dwell on your problem, find someone that you can help (not the opposite gender)

We are all tested to see how true our faith is,for God to show us our need, bring us closer to Him, bring us to brokenness to total dependency upon Him. Jesus is your moral compass, follow Him.

  4. As long as no one is getting hurt don't worry.

  5. If you file a report with the police I'm sure it will turn up eventually.

  6. Seek out association with science, psychology, literary intellectuals, or greenpeace volunteers, or artist, usually these groups are on a different plaine, they focus on improving the human condition.   Thats a start,

Go to the library and read about  some notable, decent, moral historical persons, or persons who were aware of their weaknesses and fought to overcome them.

  7. Lock yourself in a basement. Strip naked and pray for seven days.

  8. as long you dont hurt or judge anyone thru life and make money and spend it on football matches eat soot or spend 1000 dollars on a new haiirstyle buy a yacht goto olympic games, sack anyone who disagrees with you, play awy from your partner, goto business liquid lunches get drunk and then go back to work drunk then tell your staff off! you will be ok ok!

  9. I experienced the same at your age until I received the Holy Spirit (evidenced by speaking in tongues).

Then I joined people who believed in the need for the same, together we make the things of God work in our lives and those we meet who are interested.

    Have you done the same?

  10. You sound young.  What you are going through is a normal phase of growing up.

Sweetie, 20 is young to me ;).  Whatever you are going through will work it's way out.

  11. unless you want to be a monk, feelings for the opposite s*x is perfectly natural. It's what keeps the human race going.

  12. At 20 you're supposed to be having what Christians would call "immoral" feelings for the opposite gender. That is normal.

Just don't be an idiot. Control your urges, don't suppress them and think of them as wicked.

  13. Morals don't come from the bible!- You're looking in the wrong places! Why do Christians always think that?? Crazy stuff.

I've never read the bible in my life, and I have very strong morals.

Decide for yourself what's right and wrong.

My personal philosophy is : If you're not harming anyone else, you can do whatever the h**l you like...

    What is yours?
