How do I register a continuation of my FF league if as Commish I changed my Yahoo email address?

I want to retain the legaue history, but I get an error message indicating that only a past Commish can renew a league. I am the past Comish but changed my email address so that Yahoo does not recognize me. Any way to confirm that I was the past Commish other than email address?
