How do I relax ribbed sheets?

I have a set of sheets with a very high thread count (600 or 700 I think). They are ribbed, and when I wash them they scrunch up making it impossible to really use them unless I do a thorough job of ironing them, which is a complete pain. Are there any producs out there that I can soak these sheets with or wash them with that would relax the ribbed portion so it doesn't scrunch up?

To reduce fabric from wrinkling -

* Wash in cold to warm water & never overload washer.

* Add fabric softener and 1/4 cup of vinegar to final rinse to reduce residual alkalinity.
