Question:

How do I relieve dry/cotton mouth if my mouth is still dry, no matter HOW MUCH water I drink?

My antidepressants give me dry mouth. I'm on Wellbutrin.

  1. Try hard candy, or sucking on a button.  


  2. It is a very normal side affect of Wellbutrin.  You need to contact your Dr if it is so severe that it is affecting your everyday life. Either your dose needs to be adjusted or something is wrong.  There are other things you can do such as eat popsicles and suck on hard candy, and chew gum, but I would call my Dr.  If it is so bad that it is affecting you then something is wrong.

  4. Brush your tongue really well,and use a tongue scraper,Drink about a shot glass of Pedialyte every 15 min. (if possible),it should subside within 2 wks.......if not consult your Dr. the mg's might be to high or to much.....
