Question:

How do I relieve stress and get my life back on track?

Recently, things spun out of control for me and I made bad mistakes at a time when I was confused. I was going to an excellent college but decided to settle for a not so good one to save money. I can still transfer up to the good one but I'm just sort of kicking myself.

It also seems like no matter what I "have" to be worried about something. It's like everything is stressing me out.

  1. Diet is very, very important and you need to decrease sugar intake, caffeine, artificial sugars, colorings, flavorings and preservatives. High protein diet is very important as well. Eat some all natural peanut butter and drink chamomile tea.

  2. Hi!  I know it seems hard right now, but it looks like you have a light at the end of the tunnel knowing that the "good school" is on the horizon.  Since your in school, money's probably tight so focus on thinking positive and keeping your eye on the future.  Here's some tips I've compiled of "free" ways to relieve stress.  http://buzz.prevention.com/community/lis...

  3. It sounds a bit like anxiety.  Eat healthy, get enough regular sleep, don't do drugs or alcohol.

Whatever the mistake was acknowledge it and then try letting it go.

Worrying about things is pointless, regret is pointless, being angry is pointless.   These things all keep you stuck on the problem and what you need to do is move forward with a plan, while learning from the mistakes.   We all make mistakes - sometimes it is the only way to learn - so don't fret about it.   Work out a plan and work on it.  Reward yourself when you do good and don't beat yourself up when you make a mistake - just try not to make the same one.

When you start feeling stressed check your breathing  - slow it down and breath deeply and try to let go of the stress.   It's a bit like getting back on a bike after you have fallen off.   Just keep going without putting too much pressure on yourself.   One step at a time.   Cheers.

  4. Well 1st of all stop and think.. Any college is a good college because u are bettering urself. College isnt for everyone so be proud that u have stuck to it first of all....

You wanted to save money for a reason, right??

It seems to me ur just worried things arent going to go as planned or imagined.. But you have to believe everything happens for a reason.. wether its good or bad things will eventually fall into place for the good.

Dont worry your not the only one that stress about these things.. almost every student does.

Try relaxing more and think possitive thats the best way to relieve stress..

  5. I assume that you "have" to be worried about something because of the fact that you're stressed so much about other things. I know it's hard sometimes to choose the right college/university, courses, etc. But u should get ur priorities straight, whatever is more important put that first in ur life and if u cant deal with others things at the same time, then dnt, put them aside for now...its summer so ya, if u can transfer to the better school then do it, if that's wat u realize u want. I guess try to accomplish as much as u can, and if u cnt then...dnt stress over it, finish things little by little if u have to...ya cnt jump from the bottom of the stairs to the top, sometimes u have to take small steps

also, sometimes spending more money then u intended is worth it, especially if it will benefit u in your future...even if it means sacrificing something else then u wanted

  6. the best way is to relax.free up your mind.try to get away from your problems for a short time and find something to attract your attention.i am also a student.i know about your problem because right now me and my friends are having problems with our loans and academics.money is not the real problem now right?about your college,my advise is that no matter where you study, you can still do your best and be the best among the best.just focus.
