How do I relocate to Bogota Colombia from New york?

I have lived in New York My whole life, and in need of change, so I'm looking for any helpful info on how to relocate to Bogota, and I understand the dangers of new cities, new countries, but that's the same anywhere. Thank You.

There is a lot of crime in Bogota.   People hire body guards and have bullet proof windows in their cars. If you have any wealth what so ever, you will become a target. Americans working in Bogota live in compounds with " mucho " security. NYC is heaven compared to  Bogota.
