How do I remove Quicktime icons from Yahoo opening page?

Whenever I open Yahoo through Mozilla Firefox, I get 2 QuickTime icon links in the place of the Yahoo banner and the advertisement square, and I would like to know how to remove them and revert the page to the way it is supposed to be.

click on start.

click on run

In open: type in msconfig

You will get a startup configuration

click selective startup and deselect all the ticks. Restart the pc.

Your pc should start up faster also now and without those quicktime icons
