How do I remove The Spy Bot Program,Seek & destroy?

This program has embedded itself into my computer and, it can't be found in the add/remove area. It frequently pops up in attempts to sell itself.

Spybot doesn't sell itself , it's free for home use. What you got is a scammer - a malware designed with the only purpose of scaring you into buying it.

Do an online scan at http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html and http://www.ewido.net/en/onlinescan/. Next install and run http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/CC... - On Tools you will see all your installed programs, uninstall all dubious or unneeded ones and clean again.

If it's not showing up there or not listed in the start menu, then my guess it's not the real spybot search and destroyer program. Spybot is a free and legal program that you can donload to help remove spyware. I've used it before and it's a great program.

So if you didn;t install it then my guess is a fake spyware program. Here's the site for it.
