Question:

How do I remove WinRAR from my computer?

I went to control panel>> uninstall porgram >.winrar >> and it says CANNOT UNNINSTALL winrar since it doesnt exist..if it doesnt exist then why is it in there? and when i open it it works perfectly fine.. and like on the top of it it says 20 days left to buy a liscense..so does that mean it will disappear in 20 days !? im trying to download fonts and winrar just wont let me do anything !! and i think it got me a virus! how can i delete it!? When i try deleting it, it says file does not exist..wtf HELP!!!

maybe the uninstall file doesn't exist? like.. cos there is an uninstall program. try going into the winrar folder and uninstalling it with that program.

i've had winrar for a while and it always says to buy it but i never do.

looks lyk ur comp does have a virus, hmmm if it was me id reformat my pc. It mite not b winrar thats causing this problem it could be another program. I have winrar I use it all the time, i downloaded it from the winrar website and its fine so it must b somit else but if u want to get rid of it go to c drive in my compter then program files find winrar file, high lite it and hit shift delete at the same time then delete it that way if that doesnt work id say install windows again (remember to boot cd from start up) not on the windows screen hope this helps!

Open your control panel/ click Add/remove Programs

Find Winrar ..click remove..

if you can't find Winrar. try to open Program Files, WinRAR

find the executable file named: Uninstall.exe..double-click this file

If you recently installed winRAR go to system restore and restore the computer to a time before you installed it. Normally you can restore to the last major change on your computer like a program being installed. Next time i recommend you get 7zip it is better then winrar it will extract ZIP's and RAR's and many more it is free and you have it forever and it has more options then WinRAR.
