How do I remove Yahoo Mobile from my phone?

I thought I would be good to have this feature but people that I haven't heard from in a long time keep sending me messages, which is costing me precious money through my cellular service. I now want to delete yahoo mobile from my phone but still be able to access yahoo messenger. Is this possible? If so.....how?

you will have to contact your mobile provider to change it but instead of them changing it they will cut your yahoo messenger out of your mobile phone

Yes, you can delete yahoo mobile feature & of course can be able to access Yahoo Messenger.  Please follow the step as belows:

Deactivate Yahoo mobile device

Sign into ur preferences account:

1. Click <delete>  through the following link

2. After click delete, it popup nxt page

3. Confirm delection by clicking <Delete Device>

Click open this site, then click <My Mobile> at the top right corner to do the deactivate

Actually, you still can block the features only to the specific persons that you don't want to receive sms.

1. Press the <Messenger> from the top left corner of Y/M

2. From the pull down menu u select <Preferences>

3. Select <Ignore list> to add the person's ID -----( If they are not from your friend List, then u can't do this option.)

4. Once you block the sender from your name list, who is not suppose to send you any message and so on....
