How do I remove a Stannah Stairlift?

I wish to remove a Stannah stairlift but not sure where to begin as I can't see a way of sliding the chair off the runner. Could anyone please advise me how to do this.

i would ask stannah as its designed to take great weight  so it won't be easy and they may take it back without all the hassle of you getting someone to collect the scrap, but just maybe it could be refurbed so be use ful to someone else.

Or click this link and contact them and ask them to take it out for you all you do is leave your name,number what day you want them to contact you and between what time. Then they will call you back

Personally I would get in touch with the Stannah company and ask them to remove it.

Your best bet is to let someone else do it.  Most communities have disabled support groups that would love you to donate this to them, as they'd give it to a needy disabled person.  They would also know how to take the thing out of your house, and no labor on your part.

Got a firm in to do mine  Did it all and gave me £200 for it   There ii a stop on  the track  which when removed  the chair come off     Track is bolted to stairs

You wanna sell it?  There is a company that will buy it off you and come and remove it!
