Question:

How do I remove a die stain from a white cotton dress?

My fiance packed her wet and died sandals in a bag with a lovely cotton dress that she absolutely loves. I tried stain remover, but I think i will need to spot bleach. The whole dress is slightly off white, so I'm assuming we'll have to go full white in the end. Is there any way to do this? One more hoop to jump through, specific brands may be out of the question, because I am in Thailand.

  1. take the dress to a dry cleaner they have chemicals to remove most stains

  2. if this dress is all white and cotton ,a bit of bleach will get rid of the spot, wash in cold water and a bit of detergent ,add a drop of water to the stain and rub gently , let it rest for a bit and rinse ,hang to dry .

  3. y dont u rub lemon in that place for sum time and wash it with luke warm water...if it still doesnt work try a good detergent...if stilll not possible give it to a dry cleaner...im sure the prob will b solved trying these steps...GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

  4. stain remover?....or you don't.....ahhh wait.....you've tried that...giv me a min...only thing i can think of is  ( seen as you must be on - line to ask the question in the 1st place ) is look up on-line what to do....if you can't find it on the net, then it's not possable to remove...( just my opinion )...type in on google what the stain you want to remove is.....i mean, it aint the same stains as on monica lewinskis dress right??

  5. Ever heard of Ritz Dye? They make something to take all the color out of a garment so it will dye to the color you want easier. Just thought I would let you know about it. Bye

  6. Mix1 part water with 1 part white distilled vinegar. Spray the stain and lay it out all day in full sun. This will bleach the stain out. Sometimes you have to spray it a few times.
