How do I remove a hills compact plus clothes line.?

I have tried turning the locking mechanism counter clockwise however I cannot pull the clothes line out of the socket. Are there any tips to meke this easier.

  1. Sounds like there is water causing suction in hole, i have the same clothes line and it can be extremely hard to get out when there is water in there.

    Just make sure that the lock is truly free and PULL, PULL, PULL.
