  1. I had this happen, you have to do a system sweep using a good anti virus software, they're designed to hide from you..you may have to save your most valuable information and clear the drive..

  2. I have a similar problem....

    and

I believe a good old fashioned sledgehammer will be the answer....

    Peace.

  3. I don't know, but I starred it so maybe someone who might know will be able to answer. I know one, who might know...but he's in a meeting now.

  4. If it is recking havoc most likely either spy ware removal like spybot or your anti-virus program may find it. In the event you cannot find it then try searching for the file and remove the file. Otherwise if all else fails try to restore the computer to a time before it began interfering with your computer. Should you select this option anything you have added after the date you are rolling back to will be lost.

Another option my be is that you have downloaded an update to an existing program or installed a new program. If that is the case remove the program by going to Start>Control Panel>Add / Remove programs then remove the program. Once removed try reinstalling it.

  5. If it isn't in your "Add/Remove Programs" option in the Control panel. Try to go to your "My Computer", Program Files folder and find the name of the company or program that created the program. Keep looking in there for a file that says something to the effect of "UNIS.EXE", UNINSTALL, UNWISE, But for the love of God, DO NOT DELETE THE FOLDER!

or just listen to the others' advice and apply sledgehammer or shotgun as needed.
