I can't remove it. I don't want to break it, because it could probably be of some use in the future, but I feel it doesn't really go with my bicycle. How exactly do I remove them?

  1. Take pliers, grab the outside edge of the white button type snap s***w and turn it off.

  2. It might not match but it could save your life!

    Just leave it on.

  3. what mr said. also, most reflectors of this type only require a slotted screwdriver and a 1/4 turn to the left..

  4. h**l, the reflector is the best bit of the wheel, still using steel rims, I see, and the spokes look quite tired.

Take a large screwdriver and insert it in the slot in the white plastic retainer, turn anti-clockwise to free the retainer and pull it out, now slide down and rotate the reflector body to clear the spokes, job done.

Edit, Sorry, Liam, I was being a bit facetious, but the brakes don,t work in the wet, alloy rims are much safer and stronger, they not so susceptible as steel to little dents, although they are probably more in keeping with the bike you have.

  5. unscrew the spoke and slide it off

  6. Cut the d**n things off, I hate wheel reflectors.
