How do I remove a stain caused by resolve stain remover?

There were some old sweat and animal stains on my couch that I finally tried to remove with Resolve stain remover. I used it liberally all over the couch and now it has big water looking stains everywhere. Will steam cleaning help? It's actually my girlfriends couch and although I was trying help her out I think she is still going to kill me...how do I escape an angry girlfriend? heh.

The one above me is right what happened is that the cleaners brought the dirt to the surface a good steam cleaning will get that out. I had a white sofa i did this too
