    2. Choose show results

    3. Remove

  2. go to start then go to control panel then go add if remove  or you can download ccleaner ones you download it install it and just go to tolls

    http://www.ccleaner.com/download

  3. go into control panel and look for then right and remove the program that run them

  4. go to control panel and remove program, if its not there

go to c drive, go to documents and settings, go to xp folder and delete antivirus folder from there.

    if not good luck

  5. Go to this sight www.pcthreat.com/parasitebyid-7011en.htm...

  6. Have you tried in safe mode and go on start>all programs>control panel and double click on add/remove programs and uninstall antivirus2008, when its done, reboot your computer hope this helps?

  7. just go into search, search it and delete it ^.^

  8. click ctrl+alt+delete then close the program

  9. use avg free edition and do a full scan. when the scan is complete, delete all of the viruses that come up. i had this virus and this worked for me.

  10. Going to Wiki, I found this information:

  11. Hello, I had the same thing on my computer and tried three different programs to remove it and couldn't, Finally I found ESET(link below) and it removed it right away..

Try restarting the computer in safe-mode, turn it on and hit F8 until it gives you the option of starting in safe-mode and then download the program I suggested.

**Free version available without a credit card or anything

EDIT: Once you have removed antivirus2008xp from your computer you need to do two things, click the 2nd link below and then click on line 285 because that virus removes your display options and this will restore them.

Secondly go to Start> Accesories>System tools>System restore and create a restore point, that way you have a "clean" restore point in case you need it.

This should fix all of your problems =)
