How do I remove barnacles from my boat hull? I need to paint the hull.?

Real problem and I am looking for a real "trick" to making it easier..

I wish I could help you with the barnacles, I have a similar problem with my floating hydraulic boat lift.  I do know that if you don't have a boat lift, you must bottom paint your boat to avoid barnacles, but you already realize that.  Hope you find help.

Pour several gallons of elbow grease on it.

Get the hull blasted with garnet after scraping most of the heavy barnacles remove.
